Net 60 Six Triumphs in Yorkshire's Strictly New Business Event

Innovative golf company, Net 60 Six has been crowned the winner of the inaugural Yorkshire 'Strictly New Business' competition.

In a fiercely fought final, four short-listed contenders made their pitches for the top prize of a year's free office space at Joseph's Well, including rent, rates, service chargse, buildings insurance and utilities. The lucky winner also benefits from office insurance provided by Henderson Insurance Brokers and free business financial advise from Lee & Priestley Solicitors.

Business owner Craig Higgs impressed the judges with his presentation and unique idea and complimented him on his enthusiasm as well as his business acumen.

Net 60 Six allows golfers to play a round of golf in 60 minutes without the costly membership fees tied into golf clubs. Thee course is set up on a driving range and contains all the elements of a golf course, effectively bringing the course to the player.

The golfer can play all the shots in a round while practicing the main recognised golfing skills including driving accuracy, greens in regulation, putts per round without having to walk the four or five hours in between shots.

Net 60 Six has integrated the use of hand held PDAs and phones with 'live scoring' technology which will allow games to be played amongst multiple and single players. Competitions can be played simultaneously at different locations or at different times.

The technology allows scores to be immediately uploaded into a new type of golf club www.net60six.com where players will be able to compare rounds and be a 'member' of a new golfing social community.

Craig will now move his fledgling business to Joseph's Well and take advantage of the supportive business community and the range of help and advice available.
